Daddy was out of town again and since Mummy is still not working, she brought me and Angus gorgor together with JiuJIu to take a look at Universal Studio's entrance today.. she say next time then we go inside..

(p/s.. not to worth to visit the place when we only had 2 hours left.. we reach at 4pm .. and the place closes at 6pm...)

My first offical haircut!

I went with Mummy to Singapore Shopping Centre today...
Mummy say she need to visit Uncle Keith badly cause her hair is so messy now.

Uncle Keith has been cutting Mummy's hair since her school days; and Mummy say that was almost 20 years ago!! wowo..

After "evaluating" Uncle Keith's skill; I decided to let him snip off my long hair...

this is my very first official haircut since birth!!! (before was juz regular slight trimming by grandma)

The Origin The National Anthem was written in the wake of nationalism during 1956-57. Its composer, the late Encik Zubir Said, had written it on the basis of two words, "Majulah Singapura" or "Onward Singapore". The patriotic song was first performed by the Singapore Chamber Ensemble on the occasion of the opening of the newly renovated Victoria Theatre. It was launched on 3 December 1959 together with the National Flag and the State Crest, at the installation of the new Head of State, Yang di-Pertuan Negara, at the City Hall steps. Upon independence in 1965, "Majulah Singapura" was adopted as the republic's National Anthem.

OUR PLEDGE We, the citizens of Singapore, pledge ourselves as one united people, regardless of race, language or religion, to build a democratic society based on justice and equality so as to achieve happiness, prosperity and progress for our nation.

The Origin
Initially penned by Mr S Rajaratnam in 1966, the Pledge was written against the backdrop of racial riots in the 1950s and 1960s. Mr Rajaratnam revealed that the dream was about building "a Singapore we are proud of". He believed that language, race and religion were divisive factors, but the Pledge emphasizes that these differences can be overcome if Singaporeans cared enough about their country. The draft text was handed to the then Prime Minister Mr Lee Kuan Yew, who polished the text before submitting it to the Cabinet.
