X-ploring Robot Zoo

An exhibit on Robot Zoo is currently held at Plaza Singapura.

The larger-than-life-size animated robots include a chameleon, a rhinoceros, a giant squid with 18-foot tentacles and a platypus. Also featured are a house fly with a 10-foot wingspread, a grasshopper, a bat and a giraffe whose head and neck alone stretch 9 feet tall...

We were there for our Sunday brunch when we get to bump into the exhibit at the main atrium, level 1.

Nikole was rather excited; playing with all the controllers to make the robots move; surprising Nikolas find these big giantic animals frightening.. he keep saying scare scare and refuse to go near..

Interesting activities for Nikole...

Kids ranging form 5 - 12yo will get the chance to participate in this Scrumptious Snackitvities as long as the parents can prodcue a single receipt showing purchase of S$50/- and above at Parkway Parade.
If the kids is younger but independant enough to enjoy on his/her own; they are welcome too ..:-)

The kids get to learn how to fold a cupcake.. thereafter each was given a slice of cake for them to explore their creativitiy to decorate it.. ; they get to use nice little stickers to decorate the cake boxes too. Last but not least; some fun games to expose the kids to some health tips .. namly,
1. Use of food pyramid to eat a well-balanced diet
2. Eat a variety of foods
3. Wash hands before and after eating
4. Always eat your breakfast
5. too much fatty foods is not good for your health.
6.Drink plenty of liquids
7. Exercise ! Exercise ! Exercise !
8. brush your teeth at least twice a day!

Nikole was rather excited about the above-mentioned pointers that she learn through play; as she shared that her teacher from PCF taught her all before. :)

Happy Nikole brought home a self-decorated cake ! Eager to show off to her little brother back home..

Our little gal has really grown up.. most our meals out with her is rather relaxing and enjoyable.. as she can independantly complete her food on her own. :)

School Holidays... what have I been doing?? :)

At this tender age of 4 going to be 5 .. Nikole do no really appreciate school holidays much. A week of staying at home had just passed; and she has been busy asking Mummy "Going to school tomorrow?"

Her preference is still going back to school and getting in touch with all the other school kids for moment of plays and get-together..

(Ha.. Mummy wish that she will still maintain such attitude and will not drag going to school when she really heads on to formal educational system..)
